More on Ou

Hey, I can't help it if you said the title too fast.

Anyway: Following up on a previous post, there's more that smells in Mr. Ou's portmanteau condemnation of OS X as more vulnerable than Windows XP and/or Vista.

For one (more) thing, Ou includes every report noted for each version of OS X (10.0, 10.1 and so on), plus Server versions AND every patch ever issued. Not to mention Secunia warnings related to things like Apache that are bundled in OS X, but are not part of OS X. For Windows? XP Pro and Vista. As they stand. Not XP, then XP Service Pack 1 and so on. All hands on the stacked deck!

This Slashdot poster said it pretty well, though we here at Apple Watch do not condone violence of any kind, even if provoked. Just show that you're living a better and happier life through doing the right thing.

And an eagle-eyed forum poster at Ars Technica pointed out that some of the notes Ou counted shouldn't, uh, count, like this one.

Next up: Mr. Ou, how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?
